SEATTLE — Air Force One has lifted off from Boeing Field, taking President Barack Obama to New Orleans after a fundraising stop in Seattle.
The president arrived Tuesday evening from Portland and held two private events with campaign donors at the home of Costco co-founder Jim Sinegal. Obama spent the night at the Hilton Bellevue hotel and departed Wednesday morning.
There were no public events, other than the president’s motorcade blocking traffic on Seattle freeways on the way from and to the airport.
