EVERETT — An Everett man died Tuesday morning in a rollover crash on the off-ramp to Highway 526 from northbound I-5.
Gabriel Romanelli, 40, was in a Toyota pickup truck that was westbound on Highway 526 around 1:30 a.m. when he lost control and rolled over off the road, according to the Washington State Patrol. He died at the scene.
The off-ramp to Highway 526 was closed for an investigation and traffic was rerouted to Highway 527.
The Washington State Patrol was investigating what caused the crash, but speed was believed to have been a factor.
