EVERETT — One person died in a single-vehicle fatal crash in unincorporated Stanwood on Monday evening, according to a press release from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 4:50 p.m., North County deputies and Collision Investigation Unit detectives responded to the crash at the 21000 block of Marine Drive. First responders found a 33-year-old male deceased at the scene. The victim’s vehicle was partially bent around a tree, the press release said. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
Detectives are still determining the cause of the crash, the release said. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will identify the cause and manner of death.
