@4. OurTowns Hedders:Snohomish: City OKs classic car show
The city on Sept. 18 approved a special event contract for the 25th annual Snohomish Classic Car and Hot Rod Display.
The car show is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in downtown. The event is expected to feature more than 600 vehicles and draw up to 10,000 people to the city.
Last year’s show created no special problems for the city’s police department. This year, even organizers plan to use barricades, which the city bought, to control traffic.
