Charity art festival
Breanne Laureano, president of Snohomish High School’s Art Honors Society, says they are planning a charity art festival Sunday in Snohomish.
It’s planned for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Les Schwab parking lot, 711 Ave. D.
Laureano says there will be performances by aspiring teenage musicians, face painting, henna tattoos, crafts for sale, Christmas cards and magic.
“Art in itself is not defined by paper or paint,” Laureano says. “Art is anything that is committed with passion. So that means that there are people of all backgrounds and interests in the society, though they all share the need to express.”
Proceeds go to the Snohomish Food Bank.
Calling all poets and writers: Poets and other writers can share their work at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Point of Grace, 5425 Harbour Pointe Blvd.
The event is put on by the Mukilteo Arts Guild.
