EVERETT — Police in Everett arrested two men in connection with a string of robberies in store parking lots early Monday morning.
The suspects, both 19, were expected to be booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
The first victim called police around 5:30 a.m. to report being robbed at gunpoint by two men in a south Everett Fred Meyer parking lot, Officer Aaron Snell said in a news release. A second victim phoned at 5:50 a.m. to report being held up in an Everett Mall parking lot. Both callers described the suspects driving a similar SUV.
A third report came in just after 6:40 a.m. A woman described two men with guns approaching her in the south Everett Costco parking and threatening to rob her, Snell said. They left after she refused to comply with their demands.
A fourth person called later that morning to report an earlier holdup, just before 4 a.m., Snell said. That caller provided details about where officers might find the robbery suspects. Officers arrested the two men for investigation of the robberies after finding a Chevrolet Trailblazer in the 3600 block of 105th Place SE.
This story has been changed to show the correct location of the holdup on 105th Place SE.
