COVINGTON — A Kent Fire Department spokesman says a pickup truck has crashed into the front of a convenience store in the south King County community of Covington but no one was injured.
Fire Capt. Kyle Ohashi said the woman driving the truck apparently hit the gas instead of the brakes as she pulled into the parking lot of the Circle K store on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters have used bracing material to stabilize the store front. Ohashi says building officials are looking into the store’s structural integrity.
