EVERETT — Police on Friday evening were searching for a man who robbed a north Everett bank.
The man walked into the Wells Fargo at 1801 Broadway about 3 p.m., Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. He demanded money and threatened to use mace on employees.
No one was hurt. It wasn’t immediately made public whether the man got away with any cash.
He ran from the scene, and witnesses reported he may have gotten into a Volkswagen, Snell said.
The suspect wore a dark-colored hoodie and loose-fitting pants. No other details were given.
Police were working on obtaining surveillance footage, Snell said. Witnesses gave conflicting details.
“At this point in time we don’t have a good description of him or his clothing, just that he got into what was possibly a Volkswagen,” he said.
