MONROE — A Monroe woman was reported missing Nov. 14 and police say her disappearance is suspicious.
Tina M. Wallace, 39, last was seen leaving the Chopping Block Tavern with another person, but she was looking for a ride home, Monroe Police Cmdr. Rick Dunn said Monday. Investigators have talked to that person, he said.
"We’re following some leads about a possible sighting on Wednesday," he added.
Wallace’s family said it’s unlike her not to check in with friends and family for several days. She lives with a sister but occasionally stays with friends in the area. She owns a vehicle, but doesn’t have it with her, Dunn said.
"Certainly we’re concerned if family and close associates are concerned," he said.
Wallace is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
Investigators ask anyone who has seen her or has information to call Officer Buzzell at 360-794-6300, or call 911, or e-mail the Monroe Police Department tip line at
