PARKLAND — Police say they have received more than 500 tips from the public as they search for the man wanted in Sunday’s slayings of four police officers at a Parkland coffee shop south of Tacoma.
Police spokesman Lt. Dave McDonald says investigators have checked out hundreds of locations since the officers were gunned down Sunday morning.
A massive manhunt is under way for 37-year-old Maurice Clemmons, identified as the suspect in the killings.
Investigators have asked anyone with information about the crime to call a special tip line at 1-866-977-2362.
