Sheriff candidates to attend Sultan forum
Snohomish County sheriff candidates John Lovick and Tom Greene plan to attend a forum at noon Wednesday presented by the Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce at Sultan City Hall, 319 Main St., Sultan.
Greene, a sheriff’s chief, and Lovick, a state House representative, are set to face off in the general election on Nov. 6. Term limits prevent Sheriff Rick Bart from running again.
Candidate forums also are scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lake Stevens School District, 12309 22nd St. NE, Lake Stevens, and at 7 p.m. Oct. 8 in the Edmonds City Council Chambers, 250 Fifth Ave. N., Edmonds.
Tom Greene plans event and fundraiser
Greene also plans to meet with the public and retired deputies at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 1065 State St., Marysville. There also will be a fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Mill Creek Country Club, 15500 Country Club Drive, Mill Creek. The cost is $100 per guest. John Lovick plans fundraiser barbecue
