PORT ORCHARD — A Kitsap County jury has convicted a Poulsbo man of vehicular homicide in the 2008 death of 34-year-old Jessica Torres of Port Orchard.
Stephen T. Harvey, convicted Tuesday in Superior Court, will be sentenced June 26.
According to a sheriff’s office investigation, Harvey was driving on Clear Creek Road when his car slammed into Torres’ vehicle on Jan. 21, 2008. Harvey’s blood alcohol level was found to be .10, more than the .08 legal intoxication threshold in Washington.
