JOYCE — Two people were killed in a two-car collision on state Highway 112 just west of Port Angeles.
The accident occurred Sunday afternoon. Trooper Krista Hedstrom says a woman was driving a car eastbound with her 8-year-old grandson in the back seat when the car veered to the right toward the ditch. The car went off the roadway and then back into the westbound lane, where it hit another car.
The woman and the boy were killed.
Two people in the other vehicle were taken to Olympic Medical Center.
