EVERETT — Police continue to investigate the crash in Everett last week that took the life of 21-year-old Paul S. Linari.
Linari was a 2011 Kamiak High School graduate, according to the Mukilteo School District.
Everett collision detectives have declined to release much more information about the crash while the investigation is under way, department spokesman Aaron Snell said.
No arrests had been made as of Tuesday. They have not yet said who was believed to be the driver, he said.
“We’re still working to establish that,” Snell said.
The crash was reported just after 10:15 p.m. March 13 in the 3100 block of W. Mukilteo Boulevard. Police found a chaotic scene.
A Jeep apparently drifted into oncoming traffic and clipped another vehicle before crashing into a guardrail. Neighbors found Linari ejected from the Jeep, Snell said. He died at the scene.
One man ran from the Jeep but later was found by police. A woman in the Jeep was taken to a local hospital for injuries that were later determined to be minor, Snell said. Both were questioned by police.
Fatal collision investigations often take six months to a year before the case file is forwarded for possible charges.
