PUYALLUP — Pierce County sheriff’s officers temporarily evacuated a pharmacy in Puyallup after a robber demanded controlled medication from Kirk’s Pharmacy and left behind a package he said contained dynamite.
Turns out the package was several road flares taped together with wire and tied to a cell phone, said deputy Ed Troyer.
Says Troyer, “It was made to look real.”
