Road report

How to read your road report: Road restrictions may be near but not necessarily in the cities under which they are listed. Most restrictions are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Any lane on the road could be closed between the two cross streets found in most listings. Weather conditions may change work plans.

Freeway work through Everett

* Multiple lanes of I-5 may be closed Monday through Thursday nights and on some Friday nights throughout the year. Closures will be in both directions in various locations between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive. Southbound closures begin at 7 p.m. and end at 4 a.m. Northbound closures begin at 10 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. Friday night closures end at 7 a.m. Saturdays. Watch for traffic signs.

* Northbound I-405 to southbound I-5 will be closed today through Friday for pavement.

* Two lanes of northbound I-5 and two lanes of southbound I-5 near the Hewitt Avenue bridge will be closed tonight through Wednesday night; Hewitt Avenue will also be closed completely each night.

* Westbound U.S. 2 to southbound I-5 will be closed nightly through Friday. Drivers can use northbound I-5, exit on Marine View Drive and return to southbound I-5.

* Southbound I-5 ramp to eastbound U.S. 2 will be closed nightly through Friday for bridge work. Watch for detour.

* All lanes of southbound I-5 at 112th Street SE will be closed at the night of April 21 to set girders for the new 112th Street Bridge.

* Through November, a barrier will separate the westbound U.S. 2 exits to the southbound I-5 onramp from the exit ramp to California and Walnut streets. The speed limit is reduced to 25 mph.

* As I-5 overpass work continues between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive in Everett, the state will close lanes and reroute drivers on several downtown Everett streets, including Broadway (under 41st Street), Maple Street, 36th Street, Smith Avenue, Pacific Avenue, 41st Street, Hewitt Avenue, Everett Avenue and Lowell Road-52nd Street. The onramp to southbound I-5 at Broadway at the Evergreen Cemetery will be permanently closed by June. Closures could cause ramp and city street backups. Drivers are encouraged to use other routes.

Arlington

* Nicks Road south of Whites Road. Full road closure through Wednesday. Stringers repair.

Bothell

* Northbound Bothell-Everett Highway at I-405. Lane closed todayand tomorrow. Bus stop construction.

* Highway 9 between 228th Street SE and Maltby Road. Lane closed through Friday. Road widening.

* 215th Street SE between 55th Avenue SE and 52nd Avenue SE. Lane closed weekdays through April 20. Drainage system improvements. n Logan Road north of First Avenue W. Lane closed weekdays through May 11. Utilities installation and frontage improvements.

* 45th Avenue SE between 228th Street SE and 212th Street SE. Lane closed weekdays through May 1. Utilities installation and frontage improvements.

* 215th Street SE between 55th Avenue SE and 52nd Avenue SE. Lane closed weekdays through April 20. Drainage system improvements.

Everett

* Meridian Avenue south of 124th Street SE. Lane closed through weekdays through April 20. Water tap installation.

* 27th Avenue SE between 96th Place SE and 94th Place SE. Intermittent lane closure extended through May 4. Frontage improvements.

* Ash Way at 141st Street SW. Lane closed weekdays through Friday. Road paving.

Lake Stevens

* Rhodora Heights Road between Seventh Place southeast and Machias Cutoff Road, Machias Cutoff Road between Rhodora Heights Road and 117th Drive Southeast. Lane closure extended through April 30. Frontage improvements and utilities installation.

* East Lake Stevens Road/Lakeshore Drive. Lane closed weekdays through Friday. Manhole construction.

Lynnwood

* 35th Avenue W. between 156th Street SW and 159th Street SW. Intermittent lane closed weekdays through April 30. Road pavement.

Marysville

* 55th Avenue NE north of 116th Street NE. Lane closed weekdays through April 30. Frontage improvements and utilities installations.

* 123rd Avenue NE between 107th Street NE and 101st Place NE. Full road closure from April 18 to April 20. Bridge repair.

* 116th Street NE between 51st Avenue NE and 55th Avenue NE. Lane closed today and tomorrow. Gas line installation.

Mill Creek

* Seattle Hill Road between 137th Street SE and 138th Street SE. Lane closed weekdays through April 27. Utilities installation.

* North Road north and south of 164th street SE, Third Avenue SE, and Cascadian Way. Lane and shoulder closed weekdays through June 29. Hub units and fiber optic cable installation.

* Seattle Hill Road between 141Street SE and 144th Street SE. Lane closed weekdays through May 8. Frontage improvements.

* Larch Way between 164th Street SW and 169th Place SW. Lane closure extended through April 30. Frontage improvements.

Monroe

* 176th Avenue between West Main Street and 161st Street, 161st Street between 176th Avenue and east end of 161st Street. Lane closed through Wednesday. Road work.

Mukilteo

* Beverly Park Road between 140th Street SW and Lincoln Way. Lane closed through Friday. Sewer main construction.

* Shelby Road between 45th Place West and 43rd Place West. Lane will be closed weekdays through Friday. Residential water meter installation

Stanwood

* Highway 532 between I-5 and Sunday Lake Road. Lane closed weekdays through April 14. Electrical work and road pavement.

* Locust Way, 228th Street SW and 14th Avenue W. Lane closure is re-instated through April 30. Utility installation.

* 39th Avenue SE between 204th Street SE and 212th Street SE. Lane closed weekdays through Friday. Frontage improvements.

* 191st Street southeast and 193rd Place southeast. Lane closed daily through April 16. Sewer lines installation.

* Grannis Road between 191st Street SE and 193rd Place SE. Lane closed weekdays through April 16. Installation of sewer lines.

* Northbound Bothell-Everett Highway to southbound I-405. Carpool lane closed until further notice. Construction of bus stop and bus-only lane.

* 39th Avenue SE, south of Maltby Road and north of 228th Street SE. Single-lane closures for several construction projects planned through spring and possibly into summer. Motorists can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.

Darrington

* Forest Service Road 26 (also known as Suiattle River Road) will be closed until further notice because of active landslides and river-undermining of the roadway.

Everett

* 31st Avenue SE north of 100th Street SE. Lane closure extended weekdays through April 27. Frontage improvements.

* Puget Park Drive between 59th Avenue SE and 136th Street SE. Lane closed weekdays through Friday. New water main connection.

* 27th Avenue SE between 92nd Place SE and 94th Place SE. Lane closed weekdays through April 27. Frontage improvements.

* Eastbound lane of 134th Place SE and the southbound lane of Puget Park Drive. Lane closed weekdays through Friday. Frontage improvements.

Edmonds

* 231st Street SW from Highway 104 to 88th Avenue W. Lane closed through Friday. Frontage improvements.

Lake Stevens

* 79th Avenue SE and 20th Street SE. Lane closure and lane shift will be extended through Friday. Signal loop installation.

Lynnwood

* Jefferson Way between 148th Street SW and 145th Street SW, Madison Way between 146th Street SW and 144th Place SW, 146th Street SW between Madison Way and its dead end. Lane closed daily through April 30. Frontage improvements and utilities installation.

* Ash Way between Alder Way and Alderwood Mall Parkway. Road will be closed completely on April 16. Bridge repair.

* 24th Avenue W. between 188th Place SW and the city limits, 198th Place SW between 28th Avenue W. and the city limits. Lane closed weekdays from May 1 to May 31. High-pressure line installation.

Marysville

* 50th Avenue NE north of 92nd Avenue NE. Lane closed weekdays through April 27. Frontage improvements and utilities installation.

* 136th Street NE between 51st Avenue NE and 47th Drive NE. Lane closed weekdays from May 1 to May 31. Power pole installation.

Mill Creek

* Ash way at 141st Street SW. Lane closed weekdays through Friday. Frontage improvements.

* 29th Avenue SE east of 129th Place SE. Lane closed weekdays through Friday. Frontage improvement and sewer connection.

* 148th Street SW west of Highway 99 and east of 35th Avenue SE, 132nd Street SE between I-5 east to 25th Avenue SE, and 172nd Street SE between 13th Avenue W. and Sixth Avenue W. Lane and shoulder closed weekdays through June 15. Aerial installation of fiber-optic cable.

Monroe

* Fales Road north of the intersection of Elliot Road. Lane will be closed weekdays through April 20. Road maintenance.

* 127th Avenue SE between 132nd Street SE and 134th Street SE. Emergency full road closed weekdays through Friday. Road repair.

Mukilteo

* Alexander Road between Gibson Road and Russell Road. Lane closed weekdays through April 30. Frontage improvements.

Snohomish

* Marsh Road between Highway 9 and Lowell-Larimer Road. Lane will be closed weekdays through June 29. Shoulder repair.

* 123rd Avenue SE, 125th Avenue SE, 27th Avenue SE, eastbound 88th Street SE and 86th Street SE. Rolling lane closures weekdays through Friday. Water main replacement.
