Road Report

How to read your road report: Road restrictions may be near, but not necessarily in, the cities under which they are listed. Most restrictions are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Any lane on the road could be closed between the two cross streets found in most listings. Weather conditions may change work plans.

Freeway work through Everett

Multiple lanes of I-5 may be closed Monday through Thursday nights and some Friday nights. Closures will be in both directions in various places between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive. Southbound closures begin at 7 p.m. and end between 4 and 6 a.m. Northbound closures begin at between 7 and 10 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. Friday night closures end at 8 a.m. Saturdays.

On dry nights this week, I-5 and U.S. 2 onramps and offramps may be closed in the Everett area. Paving, barrier and drainage work, sign installation, and striping continues. Watch for traffic signs.

I-5 overpass work continues between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive in Everett. The state will close lanes and reroute drivers onto several downtown Everett streets, including Everett Avenue and Lowell Road-52nd Street. Street closures could cause ramp and city street backups.

Two northbound lanes of I-5 from 128th Street SW to Highway 526 will be closed nightly through Friday for work on the 112th Street SE bridge, which will be closed.

Pacific Avenue Bridge and I-5 Southbound on or about March 5, crews will build a construction island in the middle of I-5 southbound between Everett Avenue and 41st Street to provide a safe work environment for replacing a damaged girder under the Pacific Avenue Bridge.

Bothell

228th Street SE onto 45th Avenue SE. Lane closures through Thursday. County project in progress.

Everett

Center Road between Highway 99 and Avondale Way. Lane closure through Thursday. Driveway construction.

Lake Stevens

20th Street SE between 79th Avenue SE and 83rd Avenue SE. Nighttime road closure and daytime lane closure through March 21. Installing main sewer line.

Snohomish

High Bridge Road at 167th Street SE. Road closure through Thursday. Replacing damaged storm culvert.

131st Avenue SE and Three Lakes Road. Lane closures have been extended through March 21.

Stanwood

14th Drive NW and north of Pioneer Highway. Lane closure through March 20. Power pole replacement.

191st Street SE between 25th Avenue SE and 28th Avenue SE. Lane closure through Thursday.

39th Avenue SE between 223rd Street SE and 228th Street SE. Lane closure through March 14. Utility connections.

228th Street SE between 41st Avenue and 45th Avenue SE. Lane closure through Thursday. Utility installation and frontage improvements.

Everett

56th Avenue SE between 116th Street SE and Lowell-Larimer Road. Lane closure through Thursday. Utility installation and frontage improvements.

25th Avenue SE between 124th Street SE and 119th Place SE. Lane closure through March 11. Utility installation.

Silver Lake Road south of Andrew Slater Road. Lane closure through March 14. Storm water system installation.

51st Avenue SE south of 117th Street SE. Lane closures through March 12. Utility installation and frontage improvements.

Granite Falls

Mountain Loop Highway between Deer Creek and Barlow Pass is closed for the winter.

Mountain Loop Highway in the 23900 block area. Single lane closure through March 28. Damaged cable replacement.

Marysville

27th Avenue NE between 70th Street NE and 74th Street NE. Lane closure through Thursday. Utility installation and frontage improvements.

East of Marysville city limits. Lane closures through May 30. Verizon is installing fiber-optic cable

Mill Creek

Meadow Road between 140th Street SW and 142nd Street SW. Road closure through March 12.

Stanwood

Norman Road, Silvana Terrace Road and Larson Road at the Happy Valley Road intersection. Lane closures through March 19. Power pole replacement.

Two Snohomish County bridge closures to start in June

The bridges are expected to remain closed through October to facilitate replacements.
