Road Report

How to read your road report: Road restrictions may be near, but not necessarily in, the cities under which they are listed. Most restrictions are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Any lane on the road could be closed between the two cross streets found in most listings. Weather conditions may change work plans.

Multiple lanes of I-5 may be closed Monday through Thursday nights and on some Friday nights. Closures will be in both directions in various locations between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive. Southbound closures begin at 7 p.m. and end between 4 and 6 a.m. Northbound closures begin at between 7 and 10 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. Friday night closures end at 8 a.m. Saturdays.

On dry nights this week, I-5 and U.S. 2 onramps and offramps may be closed in the Everett area. Paving, barrier and drainage work, sign installation, and striping continues. Watch for traffic signs.

I-5 overpass work continues between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive in Everett. The state will close lanes and reroute drivers onto several downtown Everett streets, including Everett Avenue and Lowell Road-52nd Street. Street closures could cause ramp and city street backups.

Two northbound lanes of I-5 from 128th Street SW to Highway 526 will be closed nightly through Friday for work on the 112th Street SE bridge, which will be closed.

Pacific Avenue Bridge and I-5 Southbound on or about March 5, crews will build a construction island in the middle of I-5 southbound between Everett Avenue and 41st Street to provide a safe work environment for replacing a damaged girder under the Pacific Avenue Bridge.
