SEATTLE — A firefighter suffered a minor injury at a house fire today in Seattle but no one else was hurt and firefighters prevented flames from spreading to a nearby house.
Fire Department spokeswoman Dana Vander Houwen said the firefighter was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The residents of the house on Beacon Hill got out safely. When firefighters arrived they found flames shooting 10 feet and licking the house next door.
Firefighters had the fire out in about half a hour.
