EVERETT — Police on Thursday arrested the second of four men they’re seeking in a violent assault in a Wal-Mart parking lot that left a teen in a coma and sent another man to the hospital.
The most recent arrest was of an Everett man, 18, according to court papers.
The July 10 attack came after a group of teens stole a car from a reported Asian gang member, police believe.
The teens gave the stolen car back, but the gang member demanded more.
When the teens couldn’t come up with the extra loot, they were beaten with bats, sticks, fists and feet, police allege.
The first man was arrested July 22. Police are still seeking the arrest of two men, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
The man who was arrested Thursday allegedly used a bat during the attack, court papers said. He was jailed for investigation of first- and second-degree assault.
A judge Friday ordered the man held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
