MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — A man in his 20s suffered serious injuries after crashing into a tree in Mountlake Terrace, according to South County Fire.
The crash near the 3900 block of 212th Street SW was reported shortly before 1 p.m. Firefighters cut through branches and got the man out through the passenger door, South County Fire spokesperson Leslie Hynes said.
Within 13 minutes, the man was being transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
“They worked quickly,” she said.
Details about how the crash happened were not immediately available. Mountlake Terrace police were investigating.
