Most of the roads around Snohomish County that were inundated with flood waters earlier this week have reemerged and are in use again. Seattle Hill Road remains closed between I-5 and Highway 9, as do a number of minor roads. Sounder’s commuter rail service resumed this morning after being out all week because of mudslides.
Do you have a story about what it was like to try to get around during the flooding?
Please send me your stories. I’d like to share them in my blog and in my Street Smarts column that runs on Monday.
Tell me whether you were bad and drove through standing water, whether your road home was blocked off or if you hydroplaned when the rain was coming down at its hardest. Or maybe you had to take the bus because Sounder was out?
E-mail me your flood-related driving stories to Street Smarts.
