Bickford Ford in Everett hosted a free car care clinic for homeless and low-income single mothers from Housing Hope. Volunteers helped 10 families.
During the event, vehicles received a standard service, including a safety check, oil and filter change, and new air filters. Additionally, several sets of brakes were replaced, and light bulbs and windshield wipers were replaced. The women also learned how to care for their own cars.
Donations from the Snohomish Firefighters Silver Dollar Club and Snohomish NAPA Auto Parts helped pay for the event. Service was provided by volunteers who were supervised by three Bickford mechanics.
