Be ready for more cold weather this weekend, which could bring snow as well.
The National Weather Service in Seattle projects a chance of snow in some parts of Snohomish County for Thursday night.
“Some places in the county could see some snowflakes,” said meteorologist Dennis D’Amico.
The snow is not expected to stick because temperatures are projected to be about 40 degrees, D’Amico said.
People driving to Stevens Pass should be prepared for snow.
The pass picked up four inches of snow Wednesday and the weather service expects between six and 12 additional inches to fall Thursday, D’Amico said.
Chances of snow remain low over the weekend, but people should take this opportunity to get prepared, D’Amico said.
This means people should ensure their vehicles have proper tires, chains, emergency kits and extra warm clothing.
