Snohomish County saw 1 to 3 inches of snow this evening, but according to the National Weather Service in Seattle, this snow isn’t here to stay.
“We’ll see more snow until sometime after midnight, and then it’ll turn into rain,” said meteorologist Dana Felton. “There is no more snow predicted throughout the week.”
Temperatures are expected to get warmer, into the lower 40s, Felton said.
To many Snohomish County residents, this is welcome news after the winter blast that snowed-in many parts of the area, paralyzing basic services such as garbage collection and making many early morning commutes dangerous.
