The South Everett-Mukilteo Rotary Club recently honored its Students of the Month for January.
Kelly Vo, of Cascade High School, is her school’s National Honor Society president and keeps a challenging course load. She also has been involved in many student events and fundraisers. She plans to attend the University of Washington to pursue studies as a pediatric oncology nurse.
Antonyo Mitchell, of Mariner High School, is one of the top 10 students in his class and takes challenging courses. He also is in several school bands. As a Boy Scout, he has earned a Silver Palm, among other honors. He plans to attend UW and pursue a career as a pediatric oncologist.
Mikayla Wood, of Kamiak High School, maintains high grades and was named an Art Student of the Year at her school. She plays soccer, has volunteered in Guatemala and with a local special-needs baseball team. She spent middle school at an international school in Thailand. She plans to attend an out-of-state university and major in math or science.
Alma Romero Delgado, of ACES High School, maintains top grades while working as a pizza shop manager. She plans to attend Everett Community College after graduation.
