Spring ferry schedules available for vacation planning

Washington State Ferries has released its spring schedule, which starts March 20 — the first day of spring — and runs to June 11.

If your travel plans take you to the Olympic Peninsula or Sidney, B.C., be sure to look into the ferries’ reservations system, at tinyurl.com/SaveASpot. Reservations are available for the Anacortes-San Juan, Anacortes-Sidney, B.C. and Port Townsend-Coupeville routes.

You can check estimated available spots on every WSDOT ferry via an app the agency has put together, available through www.wsdot.wa.gov/Inform/mobile.htm.
