BOTHELL — A Stanwood man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle late Wednesday night after crashing his car into a guardrail.
Just before midnight, the 26-year-old man was driving on northbound I-405 near Highway 527 in Bothell when he lost control during a lane change and struck the guardrail, officials said Thursday. The man appeared to be speeding at the time of the crash.
His 2000 Nissan Maxima was totaled. No other vehicles were involved.
The man was listed in serious condition and was in intensive care Thursday afternoon, hospital officials said.
The crash remained under investigation Thursday.
