SEATTLE — Temperatures dropped below freezing early Wednesday in Eastern Washington and into the 30s in much of Western Washington for the coolest weather of the fall so far across the state.
Some lows record before dawn by the National Weather Service: Spokane 30, Pullman 24, Pasco 28, Yakima 22, Seattle 39, Tacoma 30, Bellingham 36, and Vancouver 34.
The Weather Service had issued a freeze warning for the Columbia Basin because of possible damage to crops.
