Traffic could be tied up in north Everett for some time this evening after a car chase ended in a crash on Marine View Drive just before 3 p.m. today.
Marysville police were in pursuit of a stolen car across Highway 529. The car crashed after turning on an off-ramp. Marine View Drive was closed for a short time. About 3:20 p.m. it was coned off into one lane in each direction.
At the scene, a blue Honda was upside down at the edge of a 15-foot embankment. Another vehicle also was involved. Also, a woman in handcuffs, an aid car, nine Everett police officers and Marysville’s mayor and police chief were at the scene.
