MARYSVILLE – A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbing two Marysville banks and stealing thousands of dollars worth of aluminum from an Arlington business.
Police are investigating the man’s connection to the Jan. 31 robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in the 10000 block of State Avenue, and the Feb. 12 robbery of First Security Bank in the 11500 block of State Avenue, Marysville police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said.
The man is also being investigated for allegedly stealing more than $4,000 worth in aluminum from a business where he used to work, Krusey said.
The man was arrested at his Arlington home following a joint surveillance operation by Marysville and Arlington police.
He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of first-degree theft.
