BOTHELL – Police are looking for a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a woman in Bothell last month.
The victim, 49, told police she met the suspect while waiting at a bus stop in Everett on Jan. 31, Bothell police Capt. Denise Langford said.
The woman accepted a ride in the man’s car and they went to Bothell where they stopped to buy something at a convenience store, Langford said. Police were able to capture images of the suspect from the store’s surveillance video.
The woman told police the man later assaulted her in his car. She tried to call 911 but the man dragged her out of her car by the hair and then he drove off, police said.
The suspect is described as Asian in his mid 20s, about 5-foot, 9-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with shoulder-length dark hair. He was driving a small, white, two-door passenger car.
Anyone with any information regarding the assault is asked to call Bothell Police Department’s tip line at 425-487-5551.
