EVERETT — Police were investigating a suspected hit and run in Everett that left one pedestrian dead Monday morning.
Around 5:30 a.m., Everett police responded to reports of a body in the 3900 block on Broadway, officer Ora Hamel said.
The deceased was a man in his 70s, according to police.
The northbound Broadway exits from I-5 were closed while police investigated, Hamel said. Broadway opened several hours later.
As of Monday afternoon, there was no update on any potential suspects or the cause of the crash, Hamel said.
