TACOMA — A not guilty plea was entered for a Tacoma firefighter charged with vehicular homicide.
Pierce County prosecutors says the 47-year-old man, Joseph C. Mondau, was driving drunk when he was off duty Monday night and collided with a motorcycle at an intersection.
The News Tribune of Tacoma reports the crash killed a 43-year-old Lakewood man, Mark Kaytna.
After Wednesday’s arraignment, the firefighter was allowed to remain free on $10,000 bail.
