Target Zero honors traffic heroes

Target Zero Snohomish County in December recognized local law enforcement officials for their efforts in the area of traffic enforcement.

Lynnwood Police officer Mark Brinkman was named Officer of the Year.

Lynnwood Police Sgt. Chris Breault was named Supervisor of the Year.

Edmonds Police Sgt. Karl Roth received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Team of the Year was the Bothell Police Department Motors Unit.

Target Zero is the state’s effort to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries to zero by 2030. Local programs include emphasis patrols, such as targeting those driving under the influence. Learn more at www.targetzero.com.
