EVERETT — A teen boy was taken to the hospital after being stabbed Tuesday morning at an Everett park, police said.
Around 1:30 a.m., the boy banged on the door of a neighbor of Lions Park, 7530 Cascade Dr., to report he’d been stabbed, according to Everett police. The resident called 911. Paramedics took the boy to the hospital.
He suffered serious injuries and was undergoing emergency surgery, officer Natalie Given said.
The boy and the suspect knew each other, police said.
Investigators deployed a police dog and drone to search for the suspect. By 7 a.m., police had cleared the park, Given said.
Detectives hadn’t found the suspect, as of Tuesday morning.
