EVERETT — Investigators were looking for two suspects believed to have shot a teenager several times in a drive-by shooting in Everett on Saturday.
Around 4:30 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of 124th Street SW, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found a teenage boy, 17, with multiple gunshot wounds, sheriff’s office spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said.
The 17-year-old was walking down the street when a car drove by and fired multiple shots at him, according to investigators.
Deputies rendered aid and applied multiple tourniquets to the victim. The teenager was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with life-threatening injuries, where he underwent surgery and was in stable condition Monday, police said.
Major Crime Unit detectives found multiple shell casings at the scene. Police were looking for two suspects who were seen fleeing the area in an unknown vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
