VANCOUVER, Wash. — A Clark County spokeswoman said a young male driver was text- messaging just before a head-on crash Tuesday that left him with traumatic injuries.
She said the unidentified driver swerved into oncoming lanes and collided with a GMC truck. She said the young man’s mother came to the crash site and said her son had been texting her at the time. The young man was taken to Southwest Washington Medical Center for treatment.
His condition was not known.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
