The word ‘mom’ upside down spells ‘wow’

My mom should be the mother of the year because she makes me food when I’m hungry. She makes good breakfasts with an omelet, sausage and potatoes. I like it when she makes breakfasts like that so I never run out of energy. She’s great when it comes to taking care of me and my brothers. When it comes to relaxing that’s what she doesn’t do a lot.

My mom is very nice to me and other people. I can tell by how she treats other people and me. She’s very consistent to other people and me. She treats everybody fairly and nobody less. She deals with other people very well. She is very truthful and admits when she did wrong. She apologizes always even when she didn’t do it.

I can’t say she plays with me. I can’t blame her. She’s constantly working, cooking and taking care of me. It would be nice if she could. The good thing is she helps me with homework a lot if she can. The real best thing about her is she will never embarrass me in front of anybody.

That’s why I know she should be the mother of the year.

I want to award my mom the “Mom of the Year” award, because she lets me do quarter-midget racing (even though she is afraid for me.) She is horrified of me getting hurt, but she lets me go and do what I want to do. She spent over $4,000 on quarter-midget equipment and carts. That is why I want to present her with the “Mom of the Year” award.

My mom should be mother of the year because she is loving and caring. My mom also feeds me, gives me shelter, buys me clothes. I don’t think I could ask for a better mom than the one I got. Every day she wakes me up for school and drives me, and after school she picks me up. My mom is my hero, my friend. She packs my lunch every morning and gets up at 5:30 a.m. just to help me get ready for school.

My mother should be mother of the year because she helps me through hard things and bad things like homework, tests, book reports, and any other thing that I need help with that’s hard. Every year I have a new teacher she helps me survive every time. Everything that is in this story she does the same with my other sister Mikala. Even though my parents are divorced she helps me through it. My mom truly rocks. She is awesome, also great. This is why I think my mom should be Mother Of The Year.

I love horses and my mother does, too. When my mom was a little girl, she had many horses, and she rode them all the time. She went to horse camps, and was one of the best riders. She won so many trophies.

Once when she was riding a horse, she fell off, and the horse stepped on her face. When my mom told me about it, I wished I was there to help her.

She also liked to stand on the horses’ backs when they were going slow. I can remember my dad telling me they used to go to beaches and ride around. That seems fun.

My mom wishes we had a big field to have horses now. I wish that when I grow up I could have a big field and have lots of horses and have fun like my mom.

My mom is the best mom ever. You want to know why? My mom doesn’t like birds and I guess I took that after her (I don’t like them either.) My mom doesn’t like it when our house is messy. My mom takes me fun places like Chicago, Disneyland and to the mall and lots of other places. She loves me and I love her.

My mom should be mother of the year because she loves any type of dog big or small. She cares about our 3-year-old Chocolate Lab. (That’s in human years.) My mom loves herself. She is a pet lover.

She is the best mom.

When I am my mom’s age there is one thing I don’t want to do like my mom….. talk on the phone too much. She talks on the phone for like two hours everyday. When I want to use the phone she says “One second.” I ask like an hour later and she says “Hold on.” Then I ask again and she says “I’ve been off the phone for along time.” When she gets on the phone to talk to her friends there’s no stopping her.

My mom should be mother of the year because she is fun to be around, especially when she sings in the car. Most of the time, she sings good. (OK, all the time.) She sings to country songs. Country is great music. I love my mom. Please pick my mom. She’s the best mom in the world.

My mom is 37 years old. She loves playing basketball with me. About every Friday, I have a game unless my mom is gone, hurt, sick, or if there’s bad weather. If I win, my mom always says “Well you’re twenty years younger then me.” That makes me laugh. If I win I always win by one or two points. If I lose, I lose by one or two points.

P.S. Happy Mother’s Day.

My mom is an active person. She plays soccer and kickball. She’s thoughtful. She makes me happy when I am sad. She sings a lot. She takes me to movies. She’s faithful. She goes to church. She runs with my aunt to keep in shape. Sometimes, she parties, she’s cool and feels like she’s 20.

My mom has a huge heart. She helps me with stuff like helping me with math, and thinks of me every day like when I am gone. I love my mom. She helps us with our homework and makes us healthy food. In the summer, she takes us to Wild Waves.

I love my mom.

My mom is a good cook. She cooks me some good caramel corn. She makes good popcorn and goodies for my teacher and my brother’s teacher. She makes good cakes for us and the family. She made my brother a cool cake for his birthday. She makes me good cakes, too. She made Miles a cake for his first birthday. He made a mess.

My mom spends lots of time with me. We have “Family Night” every Sunday night. We play board games, cards, and sometimes we have a fire and roast marshmallows. One time we spent almost the whole day planting flowers and plants together.

We like to go to the zoo in summer.

Sometimes we go to Seattle. We shop in little stores, go to the Seattle Aquarium.

I like spending time with her.

In my calm objective opinion I think my mom should be mom of the year because if it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be here.

Every morning she makes me breakfast. Lots of days she makes me smoothies. I love smoothies, and they’re healthy too. She also makes my lunch everyday for school.

She drives me to school and picks me up after school. She takes me to my baseball games and practices. In the summer she takes me to the beach and watches me while I skim board. Some nights she helps me with my home work.

She also plays games with me. When I was little my mom used to feed me and read me books at night when I’m tired. When I’ve had surgery she has held my hand. My mom should be mom of the year because every day there’s something delicious on the table. Some mornings for breakfast my mom makes homemade chocolate-chip pancakes, my favorite.

My mom also pays money so I can do Cub Scouts and sports she also sends me to a great school (Immaculate Conception-Our Lady of Perpetual Help) and that’s why my mom should be mom of the year.

My mom, Shannon, should be mother of the year because she takes care of me every year. She makes me breakfast every day. She buys me clothes that I like. She buys me foods that are healthy for me. She buys me new school supplies every year.

She bought me a bed. For our birthdays every year. She almost brings us everywhere. She lets me go on the computer if I read. She lets me watch movies with her. She lets me paint pictures. She buys me books. She bought me a Husky shirt, a sweatshirt and a pair of shorts. She takes me out to dinner. She sometimes makes us dinner.

She bought me the SpongeBob movie. She bought us a dog and a fish. She pays for us to go to school. She bought me a stuffed animal named Princess. She takes me to her teams track meets.

She bought us a TV. She lets me buy flowers. She loves the pictures that I draw for her. That is why my mom should be mother of the year.

I think my mom, Amy should be mother of the year because she has worked so hard with her job as a teacher and she is almost never home, but when she is either folding laundry, doing the dishes, cleaning or taking my little sister and me to swimming.

It is even harder for to get time for herself because my dad works as a fireman and she has to stay home with my sister and me. My mom has worked so hard and is still on top of things. If I could say one word about her I would say “Wow.” I think my mom is amazing to be able to cook, clean, do laundry, and to top it all off go to work every day.

The only days she has to herself are the weekends. Did you ever notice that the word mom upside down is wow? There is nothing in the world I could give her to match her kindness. She is fun, forgiving, agreeable, loving and nice. She is also good at sports like Frisbee, soccer, badminton, and things like that. And that is why my mom should win.

My mom should be mother of the year because she wakes me up with a kind voice every morning. She also gets me to school on time. She also folds laundry for school for me. Another thing is that she packs me a good lunch every afternoon I go to school. Also she has a kind loving heart. That’s why I like her. My mom also has a beautiful garden. That’s why I want those flowers. My mom can be funny, nice, sad, and angry. Even though she is sad I will still comfort her. Personally I think she is the best mom in the world. My mom is not just my mom, she’s my friend and I’m proud of it. She also is an amazing cook. And when I come home she tells me “Hi” or “Welcome back.” My mom picks me up after school and doesn’t forget me. If I can say one word about my mom I would say “Wow”… I love my mom sooooooooooo much. My mom cheers me up anytime I am feeling down. Thanks for reading this essay.

I think my mom should be awarded the award for Mother of the Year. My mom is a very busy single mother and has an important job; however, no matter how important the job she always takes time out of her busy schedule to be there for me. My mom is either helping other people or taking care of me. My mom never takes time just for herself. My mom makes me breakfast, lunch and dinner then she takes me to school and helps me with my homework.

Here is a story that happened last year and I almost had to have a shot and some stitches and they had to take out all of this sand because I was on a beach when it happened. But right after it happened she drove me 12 miles to the next hospital. Then every day she helped me by helping me get up and sit down and when it was time to go to school she would help me go into my classroom.

Every week I would have three games of baseball. My mom would watch the baseball games and was always there to support me. One day I went to my grandma’s house and she was crocheting. My mom said do you know what that is and I said “Yes” and a lot of those days I did some crocheting and wrote a letter. Those are some of the reasons you should elect my mom.

My mom cooks every dinner. She’s a good cook. I like when she makes noodles with bacon and cheese (that’s my favorite food). I also like candied yams (it’s marshmallow with potato.) And I like it when she makes crab with steak.

My mom is very funny. If my friends are over, she will always tell us funny things.

My mom can do other things, too. She loves to have family day and they’re really fun, like sometimes we go to Port Angeles, and petting zoo and the Space Needle.

She is also pretty and smart and a good cook.

My mom is very athletic for her age I think.

My mom is 41 and she plays soccer every Wednesday. She scores sometimes. Recently, she tore something in her knee and now she’s on crutches. So my bother and I have to cook and do chores and everything.

My mom deserves the “Best Mom of the Year” award because she’s nice. She barely gives me chores. The only chores she gives me are cleaning up my bed and taking out the garbage. We go to fun places, like Camano Island and Toys “R” Us. She gets me a lot of stuff like Legos. I love my mom, and that’s why she should be “Best Mom of the Year.”

Blake Oliva (Terri Oliva, Monroe)<P>

My mom’s cooking is excellent. The best dinner that my mom made is baked potatoes with cheese, broccoli and steak. I also like her cheeseburgers. Almost on every dinner I say “Good cooking.” Again, she has very very good cooking.

I think my mom should be the mom of the year because she is nice, gentle, and of course very funny. I especially think so because she bakes a lot of cookies. She also encourages me to go for my goals. She is a very supportive kind of person who is always ready for anything. And always in a good mood.

Another thing or two about her is her jokes are the funniest in the world of funniest things. (Well that’s what I think.) And since I don’t like soccer or basketball. I do fencing and gymnastics and she’s always there to support me and drive me wherever (even crazy.) I need to go. I also think she should be mom of the year because she is a really good ski buddy and somebody you can count on. I think she’s really cool, too, because she will go swimming with me and jog even go to the zoo with me. She is very nice and really should be the Mom of the year.

I think my mom should be mother of the year because she is awesome and would bake cookies all day if she wanted. She has to take care of four kids with a little different ages. One is 18, one is 16, one is 13, and I am 10 years old. With this many kids and all of their activities, my mom is always very busy.

My mom takes care of my family every day. She wakes us in the morning, makes us a delicious hot breakfast, and packs our lunches. Later in the day, she drives us to all of our activities, and makes sure we have a healthy dinner. We have to eat our five fruits or vegetables every day so we don’t get sick. She is nice to our friends and makes sure we have all our requirements finished before we go to bed. If there is anything we can’t do, she always helps us with a smile and says we can do anything.

For all these reasons it is easy to see why my mom should be mother of the year. She takes care of us, she helps us, and she is loving, kind and generous. She even helps out at our schools every week and serves at our church and the hospital to help other kids. These are all qualities that a mom of the year should have and my mom has them all. So my mom is what I think a mother of the year should be.

I think my mom, Carolyn McGinty, should be mother of the year because she does so much for me. She makes my meals and packs my lunches for school. She washes my clothes and dishes when they’re dirty. She is loving and caring and she does all the things a mother should do. She buys me birthday presents and arranges my birthday parties.

She makes cakes and pies. Takes me out to eat. Gets me to my classes on time. Helps me with my homework. She breaks up me and my brother’s fights, (or at least tries to), and takes me to church. She helps me say my prayers. Reads to me before bed. Gives me hugs and kisses before bed. Takes me to the library. Makes sure I’m healthy.

Warns me about bad people. Takes me on picnics. Rides bikes with me. She listens to my piano playing and watches my dancing. Watches my soccer and softball games. She encourages me. She lets me have friends over to play unless it is not possible. She really understands my feelings and tries to help when something is bothering me.

That is why I think my mom should be mother of the year.

My mom should be Mother of the Year because she is a loving and responsible mom. Sometimes she may be firm and use ‘tough love’ but most of the time she is a caring mother.

One large trait my mom has is knowledge. When I have a problem she helps me solve it. She would tell a story about some of her experiences in life, from working as a waitress to her first crush, mom has it all.

When I want something my mom has the best answers. She will tell all about the things she wanted growing up and tells me that sometimes you get what you want and sometimes you don’t.

My mom is my all-star fan who helps me succeed in my goals. I trust her a lot and allow her to be coach of my work.

My mom is my companion through good and bad. No matter what I do, mom is my helper and she always encourages me. She builds my self-confidence.

My mom is my every day hero. She can understand what I’m saying when I just give a motion. Mom is my teacher who gives examples to prepare me for the future.

She gives a good example of how to eat right and exercise to help me grow up and be healthy. Whatever the problem, mom will have the best answer. I hope you choose my mother to win. Thank you.

My mom should be mom of the year because if you really knew her you would want her, too. My mom makes very creative cakes. One year for my birthday (second grade), she made a rectangle cake into SpongeBob. She’s also a good chef. Her spaghetti is the best. If she makes macaroni, there always has to be a hot dog octopus with ketchup eyes. She’s also a good painter. She painted a plane for a presentation on “Flags of our Fathers.” She’s also a good photographer. She has won awards in a photo contest. She has a lot of great qualities. She’s lovable, funny, and the best mom.

My mom should be mother of the year because she is very funny and very social. She is funny when she makes jokes, and when she does weird things like trying to get into the car with a chair on her back, she is funny. My mom is social when she participates in school activities, like the food drives. She is also social when she works at the antique shop. She welcomes everybody that comes in, and helps them when they need help. My mom should be mother of the year because she loves to help people, and I love seeing a smile on her face.

My mom is the best mom in the world. She is nice, smart, funny and pretty but sometimes she is a little mean. She works at Providence Hospital. She only works on the weekends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. In the morning she doesn’t eat breakfast, I think later when we are at school.

When we are at school my mom will be at home reading or at the store. When a birthday is coming up my mom will plan the whole thing. My birthday is next. She has everything planned out. I’m going to the Skate Deck, then to Alfy’s. She is great.

If my mom was to get divorced I would be sad that I would have to go to my mom and dad’s house one day then another day. My mom is the best she can bake brownies and cookies. She is great at cooking and loving us and taking care of the house, family and world. If my mom, Kelly, were mom of the year she would be so, so, so, sooooooooooooooooo happy. Please pick my mom to be mom of the year.

I think my mom should be mother of the year because she puts me in sports I want to be in. She puts me in the best school. And she is so nice tonight she is making me my best loved stirfry.

I would not want any other mom in the world than the one I have. She cooks me breakfast in the morning. She puts me to sleep. She helps me if I have trouble. She wakes me up in the morning like what do you want for breakfast? I say French toast, OK, so she cracks three eggs and she says how many? I say nine she’s like really yep. Whatever that’s number one that’s number two that’s number three four are you full yet no keep going that’s number five that’s number six that’s number seven that’s number eight that’s number nine thank you I got no more sorry thank you now go get ready for school. Hear’s the dish. Mom I don’t have any socks well maybe you should look.

Roses are red violets are blue you are the greatest and you know it to. Thank you mom for all you do. I love you.

I think my mom is the best mom, because she’s always there for me when I need her. When I need a friend, she’s always there. When I’m sad, she helps me get better. When I need to cry, she let’s me cry on her shoulder. That’s why I love my Mom.

When I’m 29 I want to have style like my mom. My mom is stylish in every way. Every day my mom dries her hair for 10 minutes. Then it takes 15 minutes to get dressed. After that she does her hair. (Don’t even ask me how long that takes – it takes forever)

I love that my mom is so stylish.

My mom is outgoing, especially when she needs to go to the mall. She is like “Run, run, get your shoes on, we have to go to the mall.”

I’m like “OK.”

My mom also likes to jog. She has to have me come with, though. That’s the only part I hate. She jogs because she likes the wind in her hair. She also only does it with me and my neighbor. Every time we jog, she makes me laugh so hard, I cry. That is why mom should be mother of the year.

My mom is really good at taking care of her Bed and Breakfast staff and guests. Some guests come because they need a place to stay, or a place to have a wedding. She can make wedding cakes for the weddings. She can make chocolate chip cookies for the family or the guests. The names of the rooms are: Belle’s room, Miss Annie’s room, Maggie’s room and the Garden room. I don’t think she will go out of business.

February 11th, 1969. The day the greatest mom in the world was born. One of the best parts about her is her cooking. On weekends she makes the best pancakes in the universe. Also her pasta is delicious.

She is very kind to other people. She donates things like diapers, wipes and shampoo to Providence Hospitality House. She also gives money to the rice bowl. She picks out cool clothes for me and buys cool movies for my brother and me. She lets me use my allowance to buy games like Spectrobes, Pokemon cards and a lot of other things. But most important of all, she gives me her love.

My mom helps out a lot at my school. She volunteers at the Sausage Fest in the pie house, at the school auction with the centerpieces, and also at my class by being art docent.

My mom is also a big supporter for me at my hockey games. She drives me to my hockey games and cheers me on. Whenever I look over, she is cheering for me. She also takes me to the Pacific Science Center and the Seattle Children’s Theatre. My mom also watches movies with us. When we watch a movie, she makes popcorn. She snuggles with my brother and I. My mom is the greatest mom in the world because she loves me with all her heart.

My mom should be mother of the year because she wants to do the best she can for us. She thinks of fun things and projects to do at home and at Camp Fire. Camp Fire is where you do things to help your community and we go camping. My mom is the one who makes it all happen because she is the leader. Mom is always concerned for my safety and health, oh and whether I’m cold. She notices my feeling’s because she cares so much.

My mom is a busy person because as soon as she gets home from work she has to cook dinner but sometimes she can play fun games with me while dinner is cooking. But when it comes to time my mom always wants to be on time because she does not want me to miss anything. She help’s me in all that I do when ever I need help she is always there. That girl cleans the house so good you’ll never even know it was dirty. She makes everything so much easier in my life. My mom makes everyone around her happy and full of happy joy. She wants to make the world a better place for me and my little sister. That’s why I think my mom should be mother of the year.

Thank you.

There are many reasons why my mom Leigh Linkous should be mother of the year. My mom is incredible. She can get my brother ready for baseball, take him to practice and get him to volleyball just a few minutes late. She doesn’t mind taking me to paint ceramics or get my nails done. She is always supportive of any sports we do and knows how to make me laugh out loud.

My mom always makes times to celebrate. If I am sick she doesn’t mind picking me up from school, taking me to the doctor, and letting me use her bed. She makes the best hot chocolate and never forgets to add a little milk. She always knows what clothes would look good on me and what wouldn’t. If we needed any school supplies she won’t mind getting some for us.

If you had a busy day, she will let you rest before making you do any chores. She will help me with my homework if I need it, and always packs a delicious lunch. She wakes me up every morning and usually let’s me read in bed. She usually doesn’t mind me helping make dinner or dessert. But most of all she should be Mother of the Year because she is my mom and I love her.

My mother, Lynn, should be named mother of the year because she helps me so much. She helps me with my homework, she cooks me delicious meals, and she drives me to basketball practice.

Another reason my mother should win is because she always encourages me. If I make a mistake in a basketball game she’ll yell, “Nice try, Dominic,” or “Don’t give up.”

My mom copies my spelling words off the Internet so I can study them. She puts them in the bathroom so I can look at them when I brush my teeth. She really helps me study for my tests. We review states and capitols daily. We also study social studies and religion together.

My mom is the best chauffeur because she lets me listen to music, play games and read in the car. She drives me everywhere. To the movies, school, football and basketball practice, and also my dad’s football games.

My mom loves to organize. She organizes my family’s vacations very well. She helps me organize my room. She organizes all the items that we are going to have in our garage sale. She also organizes my clothes, but I have to put them away. She just organized our vacation to San Diego. That’s the best vacation I’ve ever had because my mom organized it. Unfortunately, she got sick but she still should be the mother of the year.
