CAMANO ISLAND – A threatening message was found at a suspicious two-alarm house fire early this morning, police said.
Neighbors reported the blaze at a house under construction in the 900 block of Good Road. The flames were seen shooting from the second floor about 4 a.m. The three-story house is valued at more than $3 million. No one was injured.
Island County Sheriff’s Office arson investigators are on the scene; however, it is too soon to determine the cause of the fire, sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Smith said.
Smith would not comment about the contents of the message found at the scene. Smith said she didn’t know if the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will be called to investigate.
