LYNNWOOD — A 72-year-old woman died and another person was hospitalized after a vehicle hit them late Sunday night.
Shirley E. Tinsley, of Lynnwood, and another person were walking around 11 p.m., when they were hit in the 5000 block of 196th Street SW, according to the Lynnwood Police Department.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Tinsley died of blunt force injuries. The other person was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The driver was cooperating in the investigation, police said.
