BOTHELL — A 48-year-old woman has died after a domestic-violence assault in the Bothell area last week, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Both the woman and her estranged husband, also 48, suffered critical injuries.
Investigators on Monday did not release additional information about what may have happened. They previously said they believed the man had wielded the weapon.
He remains in intensive care at a Seattle hospital.
The incident was reported 1:47 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Maltby Road.
The sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating. The woman’s name and other details have not been made public.
