SEATTLE — Seattle police say a woman they believe is responsible for fatally shooting a 38-year-old man then shot and killed herself a short time later.
Police say the man was shot Tuesday afternoon in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighorhood. They say officers later located the woman in Tukwila, south of Seattle. Officers say she shot herself and was declared dead at the scene.
Witnesses in Beacon Hill told police they heard several gunshots and then saw a man lying in the road with a woman crouching over his body.
Police described the case as domestic violence. Neither the man nor the woman was immediately identified.
