LYNNWOOD — A woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a Tuesday night house fire in Lynnwood, fire officials said.
Around 8:45 p.m., witnesses reported smoke and flames coming from a house in the 5800 block of 186th Place SW, according to South County Fire. A neighbor entered the single-story home to rescue the resident before fire crews arrived.
The rescued woman’s injuries appeared to be life-threatening. She was reportedly rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
No one else was injured in the fire. It took fire crews less than 10 minutes to get it under control, according to South County Fire.
Investigators hadn’t determined the cause of the fire Tuesday night.
