TACOMA — A former Army soldier was sentenced to 17½ years in prison for molesting two children.
U.S. Attorney Annette Hayes said Wimibaldo Ever Cedeno was sentenced Friday at the U.S. District Court in Tacoma.
Cedeno was living on military bases between 2002 and 2006 when he sexually abused the children, who were between the ages of 7 and 12.
Cedeno left the military in 2011 and was living in Tacoma when he was arrested. He pleaded guilty to the charges in May.
Hayes said Cedeno will be on lifetime supervised release after he serves his prison term.
