Man accidentally shoots himself in the leg on bus in Seattle

No one else was injured. Deputies are investigating.

SEATTLE — Authorities say a man accidentally shot himself in the leg while on a King County Metro bus in Seattle.

The King County Sheriff’s Office said on Twitter that the shooting happened at about 2 p.m. Tuesday south of downtown.

The sheriff’s office says the man in his 50s accidentally shot himself with his gun while he was sitting on the bus. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

No one else was injured. Deputies are investigating.
