KELSO — The man accused of driving the getaway car after a convenience store clerk was fatally shot in Kelso has pleaded not guilty to several charges.
KOIN-TV reported that Erkinson Bossy, 23, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Cowlitz County Superior Court to murder in the course of another crime, robbery with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Bossy is one of three men believed to be involved in the Jan. 22 robbery and killing of Kayla Chapman, 30.
Authorities said Bossy also led authorities on a chase involving gunfire in February from Vancouver to Portland when police tried to pull his car over.
D’Anthony Leslie Williams pleaded not guilty to shooting Chapman in February.
Nenemeny Ekiek is accused of a providing a gun and a bandana for the robbery. In April, he pleaded guilty to murder, robbery and possession of methamphetamine charges.
