A little more work, dream will be reality

Imagine a wonderful haven for playful learning where all children are welcome to explore, create and discover. The Children’s Museum in Snohomish County – just such a place – is working toward its goal of a new, permanent home that will continue to be a center that links our community.

The Children’s Museum has fostered ties with Naval Station Everett, the Tulalip Tribes, the Everett Transit Station and many human services agencies. It has been awarded the exclusive Puget Sound region contract to be a site that enriches learning in science, math and engineering with the same activities used in the PBS children’s show ZOOM.

Now take your imagination to the site of the future home of the Children’s Museum and take a look for yourself. On July 31 you have the opportunity to see what the new home and its exhibits will look like, as well as to participate in exciting ZOOM activities. Join in the fun, food and entertainment from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1502 Wall Street in Everett. Community support for our outstanding Children’s Museum and its new home has been overwhelming. With just a little more effort, together we can make this dream a reality for our children, and for generations of children to come. Just imagine!
