I opened the editorial page of the Sunday Herald and was absolutely stunned to see you had endorsed John Kerry. Just kidding, I would have fainted had you done anything else.
It did not have much effect on me as I had already submitted my absentee ballot. I have paid attention to the campaign and know quite a bit about both of the main candidates so my decision was not difficult.
Kerry, the ambulance chaser and their surrogates have spent a lot of time calling Bush a liar but I remember the John Kerry who sat before the Senate as a young man and called our soldiers war criminals. I remember the John Kerry who said it was “seared” in his mind as he recalled sitting in his swift boat in Cambodia on Christmas 1968 listening to President Nixon tell everyone that he wasn’t there. I look at his constantly changing positions that I have heard with my own ears and it is easy to see who the real liars are. My ballot was cast accordingly.
