American winner, yet no coverage

This past Sunday a young American, 26-year-old Nicky Hayden, won the World Grand Prix Motorcycle Championship for 2006. I looked in vain for the last three days to find some acknowledgement of this achievement. This young man competed against the very best riders from all over the world in events spanning the globe. I see three pages in the Sunday Herald given over to the Seahawks, even results of a pony show in Oklahoma. In my opinion The Herald should be a little less parochial in its sports reporting.
